This is Thomas Roessler’s personal weblog. It all started at log.does-not-exist.org in 2001, while he was wrapping up his studies in mathematics at Bonn university.
Thomas worked at W3C from 2004 through 2013, running its Technology and Society Domain since 2009. He has been occasionally involved in ICANN (and learned the hard way why board members there get condolences when they are appointed), and spent some time helping the World Wide Web Foundation get started up. Privacy, security, Internet policy — and the occasional book review.
Next stop, Google.
